Router issues

I just bought a 4th replacement router for my home network, the first 3 failed on me. I decided to go with a D-Link ExtremeN Gigabit ($100). Linksys (my first 2 routers) seems to be slipping in terms of quality control judging from how quickly they failed on me. My 3rd router, a D-Link, was simply not powerful enough to do what I needed.
